i am getting a trouble code 11 and am trying to figure out what the problem is and i cant seem able to pin it down yet. it i throwing a code 11 which has a couple symptoms i tried changing the tps and that did nothing i am wondering now if it could be something else. i have an 85 runner with efi 5speed and it has a/c it says something about the clutch kill switch and i dont have one of those any help would be great thanks a bunch. :beerchug: :beerchug:

check the wiring... a friend of mine had a recurring issue with his maf... all the different mafs he tried wer e the same... ended up being a split wire in a covered section of harness

i just built a new motor for this and checked and repaired the efi harness.

I get:

switch signal:  AC switch,  tps circuit,  tps,  computer

:dunno:  I'm at a loss on this one man, but atleast you've eliminated one of the 4 :gap: 

You seriously don't have clutch cancel switch on yours?  Do you not have the button on the dash, is the clutch cancel switch on the floorboard bypassed or did it never have one period?

I've only owned 86 up for second gens, but each one I've had had the switch on the dash.  Maybe the 85 didn't, but since yours came with the inclonometer I figured it came with one.

mine doesnt have a clutch cancel switch... (85) I have the hole where one should go but there isnt one there!

trouble area=
1. air cond switch
2.tps sensor circut
3.tps
4.ecu

yeah thats what is happening. i have the hole but no button i have only had one other manual yota and it had the button

85s do not have them, FYI. They just have a hole with a cover on it.

guy if you press it you can start it without pushing in the clutch.
