my clutch is unique. its easy around town, but when i need to crawl and do legit tricky :pokinit: its worthless. my rig is worthless, its hard as flopp to drive and honestly, when other ppl drive it for even ten minutes, come back and tell me... dude what the flopp, that was intense... not because it was easy, but because you have to mash to get anywhere. i deserve a little freakin' slack. i know its not the best anything but flopp me for trying right? there is no idle for me. its mash or stall. very little in between. and for what im working with i think im doing a damn good job. i try :pokinit:, i dont just build and throw money into this thing to drive past it wishing. if i want to hit something i at least try it. i know i will prob get denied, but at least i freakin' tried.

jesus

Isn't that because (the last time I checked) you are running 37s with stock axle gears and stock tcase gears?? Thats going to take some serious clutch action no matter what truck you've got or who you are. Fordyce can get get rough, especially without any gearing.

dude i fully respect u and you aren't a pus sy when it comes to wheelin your rig. im jut being a pregnant dog couse i want you to get duals asap so you can enjoy yourself couse i like having you wheel with us. i was trying to back you up couse there are lots of people who say don't use your clutch at all and just keep a somewhat steady gas flow and youll do fine (which is the best advice), but thats not the case with some rigs. mine i was able to pretty much roll that way. but for yours its a completely different story, and chris and i can both fully vouch for that plus iv driven it a decent amount.

ya dude...your runner is a total pregnant dog. you are the only one thats able to drive it. anyone thats talking :pokinit: doesnt even know how much of a pregnant dog it is. just becase it has 37s and 410s doesnt make it bad....his truck is just different from any others. i had 37s and 410s and my runner wasnt like urs at all. no one on here understands..

and i agree with matt....i only ever give you crap because you need duals.

what kind of clutch are you running AJ?
or is there another reason why your truck is so hard to drive?

Im like the only one that can drive mine too.
and its so weird driving with a body lift... i have a Short-Throw shifter haha jk.

id like to have duals. i think that would make it alot easier on things.

Im like the only one that can drive mine too.
its a toyota, thats what different about it. a lot are different and a lot are the same. mine just happens to be prob the dumbest thing on earth. not sure on the clutch that was in on the other motor. but i before i got that runner the motor was swapped with a new clutch. and i took that clutch and put it on my new motor.

timing is legit. could be compression, could be just gutless, could be my luck with motors, could be a dildo up my tail pipe, could be a number of reason. yea the gearing might have a we bit to do with it, but not likely. like chris said his :pokinit: did just fine with 37's and 4.10s. clown does just fine with 36's and 4.10's. they both could/can roast tires no prob. me ive only seen my tires break loose one maybe once or twice since ive sas'd it and that was at i think fordyce or the con, prob fordyce. but even that was on a slick rock. both motors ive had are gutless.....but ill have duals before Fordyce for sure or i prob wont go because im tired of having to just fully mash and not be able to enjoy and get a more tech line. but chances are ill roll either way because Fordyce is hella fun.

well the trip went down pretty damn good. we all had out bits or spotlight moments. squeeze rock owned me and broke a birf, the shot of ta-kill-ya for the birf was super smooth. got that swaped out and went on my way. back at camp there is a spot (unnamed as far as i know) that after a run and i got a feel for it i was able to walk it fairly easily. thats where my moment in the spotlight came in. pulled the driver tire and turned pass and went forward a good 10-15 feet pulling it more and more and at the end i got it set back down with out reversing once. it was sooo sick. looking down out the pass window there was ground like 6 or 8 inches away the whole time. it was nuts. i tried to do it again the next two runs when the cameras were out but didnt get the right spot. but i did get flex out like a mother and i had no idea how flexed it was till i looked at the pic a few hours ago when i got home... all in all... duals are orgasmic, i taught my girl how to drive (wheelin drive) a little bit, she did really good. from meadow back to squeeze rock. and it was just an all around good trip. super stoked on how it turned out... pics eh?

went dirtbag wheelin all day saturday, no shirt, no shoes no problems.... haha yea right no problems

now my flexed out pic that blew my mind...

pull the ring gear, pull the spider gears (you need a skinny deep punch or allan wrench), put the aussie in, bolt the ring gear back on, measure for the back lash... i think its 6thou to ten thou tollerance and your good to go

Yeah when I welded my rear end I just took it by my friend's shop because he has set up hundreds of third members and let him set the backlash. Otherwise its pretty straight forward.
