So I go to class this morning and notice my runner is pullin hard to the left... Didnt think anything of it. I get home and then go back out an hr and a half later to go to class again and notice my tire has about 5 psi in it. I think, weird. Now I noticed I had a screw in it yesterday but theres NO WAY it coulda made it go that flat within an hr and a half. So I turn it and and was going to run it and then i barely roll forward and hear it leak. At that point I was like crap, look at the sidewall and the gash I got in it at Rubicon was bigger and leaking out that... So now I NEED new tires even more so then before

That's what the front driver's looks like on the Migo right now. Mike and Marlin tried to fix it but I guess the rim is bent $I\'m Down$

If that's really true, they should warranty it, especially if it's in print.

Put a bunch of plugs in it. I have a 8 plugger and a 6 plugger on my junk currently.

The 8 plugger got demoted to spare duty though.

Unless this is just the excuse you were waiting for to buy new tires.

Its like a 35.5 inch tire.

With the backspacing of the rim and the smaller tire, my runner looks goofy.

I need tires so bad now. Im thinking about lowering my runner and running 31s or something on it till i can afford new tires. Nothing like an SASd dual'd 86 runner on 31s.. woot woot

Damn, that sucks. My story isnt so bad but a few days ago I was making the commute (55 miles one way) from my pad to Sierra College in Rocklin and as usual i was late to class and cruising down the freeway at around 70 MPH my truck was rattling like it was going to explode. I didnt have time to stop and check it out so I just cruised about 65 and got to school. Checked my tires real quick before class and my drivers rear was at 8 lbs while the rest were at 35!! Later I found a massive nail protruding out of the tread but hot damn I drove 55 miles at 60 MPH with 8 lbs in one tire! I felt pretty lucky that day

My Runner is taller than yours & I had 32"s on it for a while until I could afford 35's. Do you still have the 4:10 gears in your axles? Just throw some 31's on it for now. It will look goofy but it's less work that lowering you truck

It wont be anything to lower that thing at all so Im not too worried. I just need to fix the shackles in the rear and then take a leaf outta the front, aint nothing at all..

i'd get a hold of a local goodyear dealer. that should be covered under goodyears warrenty. its kind of hard to tell how much tread you got left, but its worth asking about. worst thing that could happen is they say no.

I dont know what theyd warranty... I slammed the tire into a rock so its kind of hard to get away with it just tore. The tires are pretty bald anyway. Im going to guess 15% maybe

yea, but those tires are supposed to have bullet proof sidwalls. thats part of the reason why thier so pricey. i would tell them you ran into a rock, its what is made to do. the hospital in the town where i live have to go to some pretty remote and sometimes rocky areas to help people, and they run those same tires on all their ambulence's. along with being lifted and on bags, the reason why the run them is because their sidewals are supposed to hold up to tearing and gashing. i think there a good year dealer in towards the end of down town just past cycle recyclers but before you get to skyway. i grew up in chico so i kinda still remeber the area. run it by them and see what they say. let me know what they say. when your ready for a new set, get a hold of me and i'll get you a set at cost.

The good year dealer is actually on cohasset across the street from wendys and stuff now (kind of on the corner of cohasset and east ave)

I may bring it by and see what they say. Im not too worried, i got my ghetto looking spare on it now.
