Not real sure, but when I used NWOR(:pokinit:) V6/8 front springs I still HAd to add an extra leaf.  DO NOT USE ANYTHING FROM Northwest Offroad Specialties.  Bad customer service and parts are not as advertised.  Do love the power and reliability of the 4.3 though...
Some idiots are too busy knowing it all, to ever learn anything...

I'm kicking around the idea of a 4.3 conversion in my 89 4runner because my 3vze has given me nothing but trouble, but am not yet commited to doing a solid axle swap. I've already cranked the factory torsion bars and wonder if aftermarket units will have the strength to hold up the 4.3. NWOR claims that the conversion only adds 90-150 lbs on their website. I find this hard to believe, but if that were the case it would be nice. I keep hearing that if I do the swap I shouldn't use the nwor kit. Is there any other company with as much stuff to do the swap? Anyone know of a good source of 4.3's Near Dallas TX?

Ive dealt with both Nwor and AA swap parts before, both were real noce but the Nwor mounts were way better quality than the AA ones.  Im not saying that you should buy Nwor by any means as I wouldnt send an enemy there.....Ok so maybe I would do that but I would NEVER recomend gettin stuff from them!  I have never worked with downey products before, but I would have to imagine that they would be of a very fine quality.

if i was you i'd look into a 3.4 supercharged swap, but  4.3's  should be as easy to find around dallas as a sb chevy  :driving:
