ya im gonna exo and 4link the rear....

and its not ur rig

shoryrtt i think i pmed u on pirate..... about urs thats where i got my idea from...... im gonna try to dove tail the rear some to fit the tailgate better then run flush mounted LEDs as taillights and backup lights....

then cut the frame for the 4 link and run a fuel cell and the spare back there....

that is the winter plan

ya something like that i want my rear end closed up... the tailgate is about the size of the frame so im gonna dovetail it in to fit the tailgate rather than weld in new panels and use the end of the "bed" like you did

Did you keep the rear seat or ditch it? I can't really tell from the picture.

some updates i got the tailgate tacked up in the spot i want it... i decided not to dovetail it, it was gonna be harder that way....tomorrow im gonna go get some sheet metal and make some inner fenders and spots for the tail lights to go.... i might end up running 4" round white LED's as my back up lights.... or i dont know if im gonna run them on the rear part of the frame....

If you plan of driving it on the street at all, I would keep the lights in the rear. :twocents:

So are you planning to enclose or cover the rear storage area / fuel cell location behind the Runner tailgate? :dunno: Here is one more picture you may want to consider (its not a Runner, but you get the idea). Tubing and sheet metal to dovetail it and it covers the fuel cell etc nicely. 8)

Nice...giving me ideas.  My next project is a mini flatbed on the back of mine.
