Are you planning on DD'n this truck? it's not going to be very fun.. trust me.. on the trail? its all about gear reduction dude, you don't need a big HP motor to make it up a verticle rock.. just keepin that TQ to the tires and making 'em stick.
thats what I was wanting to here. How is the rest of the drivetrain holding up?
My question is how bad is my truck going to hate the 44s if I leave the 22r and either double or triple case it?
I am pretty much starting from scratch on this build up and money is very tight, but I have a set of 1-tons (4:10s for now) and some 44" boggers. Instead of spending the time and money building the toyota axles I would like to slap my 44s under there. My question is how bad is my truck going to hate the 44s if I leave the 22r and either double or triple case it?
it holds up fine, the only things he has broken that i know of are a (rockwell side) driveline u joint and a shock.
