Careful, you get a ticket now for towing with only a single chain on each axle.

Law is now 2 chains per axle.

ya, but i have never seen or heard very many people getting a ticket for that.  everyone i know only has 1 chain per axle.  but i ussualy double mine over so it looks like 2 chains.

MiniSimp

Buddy of mine got pulled for it, so I go 2 per axle now.

Are you camping at the placerville KOA or going straight to Loon?  it would be a lot faster to go through auburn-Cool-Georgetown nd up wentwroth then through 50 and placerville.

Yea dude you definently lost me.. I'd get lost as... you know what..

We need to get together so I can follow you up that way, I have a buddy that rides dirt bikes at the con and has told me about this way as well but I seriously don't have a clue where to go... i've only been to Georgetown about 3 times in the snow and didn't make it much further then the town.

I'll be camping at Loon like last year in the big "turn about"  at the bottom of the Dam.

Yea all but the specific streets like Elm and Main....

I wouldn't take 80 to 193 though, I'd go 65 into Lincoln and from Lincoln head out 193 twords New Castle correct?

Exactly!

Pretty much go 65 to 193, left on 193 to new castle once you hit the stop sign turn right to go to 80, go east on highway 80 about 2-3 miles or so take exit to go on highway 49. go on highway 49 to cool ca. once youre in cool youll hit a signal stop light turn left (now its highway 193) go up 193and then youll get into georgetown. once you hit georgetown turn left at the stopsign. go left allllll the way till you can only turn left or right and then thats ice house rd, turn left on ice house and go till it says loon lake, make a right and there  you are.
RIP Kyota.... you are the man

GET IT!!!

Ramrod

that whole georgetown way is actually not faster to the con at all.  I made it to the con one time on 50 and up ice house in 2 hours exactly but last weekend it took me 2 hours and 10 minutes hauling major ass to get to just georgetown.

Depends on where you are coming from.  Shamb is coming from Marysville.  So he would have to cut across roseville, Orangvale, and placerville.  it would be faster for him.

Change of plans, due to registration and a couple of other little things The Macho will stay home.I will be heading up in the Truggy:
