She was crestfallen when told it was a sheep."


"Then hundreds of other women got in touch with police to say they feared their new "poodle" was also a sheep.

One couple said they became suspicious when they took their "dog" to have its claws trimmed and were told it had hooves."

I read that part, and clicked on one of the links And all it did was go off in another version of the story..

It didn't go to another version of the story, if you read it, it was a story about how the original news story was not true.
And that is when I went to snopes to double check it.

Yes, that's why I said I'm just trying to play along(with the hoax bit).
And then to make sure I don't offend any japanese folks, I wanted to be sure and throw out some love. 

I'm polish and I take the jokes.  I think this silly hoax has it's place in humor, it's up to everyone's style.
