Topic: Filling 90 psi tires...where?

I don't have a compressor up to the task and the rear tires on the beast need to be filled before towage.  They are 90 psi rated.

Anyone know of place that has air for these?  Gas station next door is 30 psi max.

Just cause they are rated for 90 doesn't mean you should run them there.You're not going to be hauling that much weight.I would say you would be fine with 60psi.

Also with 90 in them they're gonna ride like a buck board wagon.

i agree  AJ,  just fill them up to around 60 psi

any truckstop  will have that  ability,  and most tire shops

Yeah, the guy I bought it from was running them at 70 when towing...I was gonna shoot for somewhere around there.

How much weight are the tires rated for?

How much weight are on the tires?

Add some weight for a safety factor, then look up how much pressure you need on a tire load table.

mine are rated at 90 also i run 65

if you look @ the recommended tire pressure for the vehicle, it usually says around 65 front and 80 rear --- no need to run any more than that...  i dont know if you have access to it or not, but a co2 system could do it as well --- come to think of it, isnt costco now using co2?

most air up valves on compressors dont want you to go up that high

my co2 tank has a reg 150 psi and stays that way the hole time

Most compressors are capable of going to between 100 and 150, depending upon what they are designed for.  Either way, it'll take a while to fill a truck tire to that level.  Especially if it is only a 100 psi unit. 
Truck stops will be good for 120 plus easy.  I don't know why your local gas station won't go above 30?  Most cars want 35+

Only air your tires to a suitable pressure making sure you have full contact of the entire tread surface with the ground. If you have to little it will wear the outside edges of the tire, to much and the center will wear quickly. Just like with your wheeler, I don't think anyone here runs their big tires at maximun pressure. Also with maximum tire pressure you will create heat since you will have the friction occurring in a smaller patch of tread resulting in failure of the tire.
