It was a concert! It was about Angus not about the stones... :slap:  :shake:  Stones envy

ZZ Top is bad ass.

I dare you Mrs. W to go to a Yes concert and not come back and say WOW they are way different than I thought, that is if you can still hear.

I've been to a Yes concert. Its good but it's not my thing as far as music goes.
I like hard rocking I love blues. I like it rough.
I like it raw.

RS.. I grew up a 30 minute train ride from NY. From Madison Sq. Garden. I grew up in the 70's I saw about every concert you could imagine.
You were not cool if you did not go back to school on Mon. without a concert T.
My absolute favorite concert of all time was the Stones in '76. Tina Turner opened and she did Jumping Jack Flash with Mick.
Awesome!
There was probably not a band from those days that I didn't see.

I too was at about every concert I could get to being close to several venues such as the Forum, Holywood Bowl, Coliseum, Roxy, House of Blues, etc., etc., etc., my brother a Deadhead and me would and still did until I moved would go to all kinds of concerts. Guess we are more alike than we thought?

I couldn't agree more :gap:  The phrase "no talent ass clowns" comes to mind.

I think I could ride with mini all day without once thinking it's time to change the cd!

I could never just pick one.  for good anyway.  Currently, my fave is a George Thorogood greatest hits disc, although I normally listen to straight up devil music; I love it all.

I can't believe there are so many Stones haters :headshake: That's sad. If they are so terrible why were they so popular? :headscratch: I'm not even that much into their big hits.

But anyhoo... this isn't debate on the Stones thread :offtopic:

Physical Graffitti was a great album too. And The Clash. And of course ZZ Top rocks! There are really too many great albums to choose just one.

I have hated (or just disliked) the Stones since the first time I saw 'em on the tube. Don't know why. I'd almost dislocate my shoulder trying to change the station when they came on the radio.
