1994 Honda Accord LX - Nor Cal
« on: Jul 22, 2007, 03:04:00 PM »
Well I hate to see her go but I have decided to sell my Accord. We are the origional owners of this vehicle (parents bought it brand new in 93, gave it to me in 2002) and we have all the records on this vehicle. It has been very reliable vehicle and still gets up to 32 mpg depending on how heavy your foot is. Oil changes every 3000 miles. Most of the vehicles life was spent as a commuter vehicle so probably 60% of the miles are freeway miles.

Specs:
1994 Honda Accord LX
2.2L 4 banger w/ 235,000
5 Speed manual
cruise control
cold ac
power windows, locks, mirrors
K&N intake and filter
Limo tint out back, 25 true gray up front (quality tint job, will not bubble or flake)

New parts:
radiator
battery
4 new tires
new spark plugs

Now, onto the "bad"...

In 2006 I rear ended a 4runner in stop and go traffic. Didnt even damage the 4runner, but the rear tow hitch punctured my bumper directly on one of the airbag sensors. Front end damage wasnt that bad, but the fact that the airbags deployed was. I was quoted at $2000 per airbag to have them replaced and I did not want to pay that, so I opted not to replace them. I did all the repair work myself because I did not want insurance to find out about it. Thus it is NOT a salvage title.

Here is what I replaced after the accident:
Windshield
Front bumper
Grill
Hood

I did not replace the steering wheel because it has the cruise controls on it. Aesthetically, the interior could use some work on the steering wheel and dash where the airbags came out. Otherwise it is in good condition. Nonsmokers, well maintained. The rest of the vehicle is in pretty good shape for 14 year old car. Has its share of dents and bruises but nothing that bad. This thing has a lot of torque and was great in the snow. I had origionaly planned to bling it out, but I ended up spending my money on my 4runner instead. This would make a great project car. Lot of potential.

I am basicaly just trying to get what I spent to fix the damage from the accident. It could use a paintjob obviously and I have decided to sell it and stop putting money into it so I can spend more money on my toyota.

I am open to trades, particularly:
80s-90s subaru
street legal dirt bike
2wd toyota pickup

Located in Grass Valley/Nevada City, CA. Asking $2,000 OBO
