very screwed up to do. personally i have a problem with many hybrid drivers because of their "i'm better than you and i know it" attitude. (not all, but many that i've met) do i like H2's? heck no. personally i think all full size trucks/suv's need to be diesel to have better fuel economy/availability of alternative clean fuels. vandalizing his vehicle is from idiots who dont know much and think its ok to vandalize other peoples stuff just because they dont like it. rant off.

Those guys are jack      and deserve probably more than they'll get when they're caught  . They act as if vehicles like that are the only source of pollution there is without realizing that even the bats they used required either cutting down trees or ore mining which is quite destructive  . What about the chemicals used to make plastics and in metal processing and other processes which are used in the production of everyday items and luxuries  . Heck, I'll bet they live in houses made of wood and other natural resources. Even electricity is often made by burning coal  . I say we waste a little lead in their      to get rid of goons like them. At least they didn't set it on fire and create more pollution...

I don't care how much I hate those piles of , I would NEVER do something like that.  this is complete liberal bull crap! I don't like your car, so i will smash it to pieces.  If I was that guy, I would spend another 20grand on it, and camp out on my roof in camo with a .308 every night.  These SOBs would be found duct taped to a tree naked in my front yard within a week.

It doesn't matter how you feel about what somebody drives, they have the right to drive what they want.  I can't stand ricers, but I don't go out and torch 'em because they increase noise pollution around my home. This was done is total disregard for the law, and in the idea that they are helping things out by keeping a "gas guzzler" off of the street.

I wonder if these enviro-mental people get up every morning hating themselfs  The live in homes, have running water, electricilty, gas or propane & all this is pre-plumbed into their homes. They still drive vehicles. They work to buy food. Well I could go on about the things that they do in their everyday lives just like the rest of us but I think you get the picture. They need to quit their job & go live in the forest off the land. If they are serious about saving the enviroment then they should quit using modern resources

Sounds to me like a lot of people need to pull the log out of their own eye before they try to remove the splinter from someone else's. People in general, through media hype and omitted information, can go off on a tangent and get a holier-than-thou attitude about one particular problem and forget about the problems that they are contributing to. We, as a nation, have been blessed with all of the comforts of modern life, that we feel that they are now entitlements and necessities. Necessities are things we HAVE to have in order to live: food, water (does not have to be running into one's home), shelter and clothing (for protection from the elements). Any more than that is excess. Only when a person can reduce him/herself to this level, does he have any right to make any statement about someone else.

you all have good points. i really just posted this to stir the pot and because i hate hummers. I would never advocate actually doing this to someone as i stated in the original post. The same thing could happen to my "off-roading" truck by an eco-nazi and it would NOT be cool. I dont think this attack has anything to do with the environment. For all we know maybe he couldnt make the payments on it and did it himself or it could just be a jealous neighbor makes u think though duddunt it?

I used to want an H1 when I was in high school. Then a friend of mine bought a civilian model (i dont really know the differences between the civ and mil versions) and he ended up selling it 6 months later because basicaly, it sucked. It was way under powered for its size, even the smallest parts were mad expensive, and it wheeled like . I out wheeled him in a stock, 1990 suburban on 30s. Inside, the drivetrain took up half of the space in the cab and it wasnt that comfortable to ride in either. He got out of it pretty good though. He sold it for 5K more than he paid for it, then bought a tahoe and put it on some 24s haha.

As for the article, I think the line of Hummers are lame but what someone wants to spend their money on is their choice. I could imagine how upset I would be if I found my toyotas tires slit, mirrors and windows busted and paintjob ruined. Like others have said, these eco nazis are themselves the ultimate hyprocrites. I may not agree with a   Hummer but what those eco nazis did was messed up. If anything I wish it would give them negative press, which is what they deserve....unfortunatly it will most likely go unnoticed and the nazis will continue to be the real jack asses in the situation.
