I don't beleive this should have been moved to chit chat!

I was serious about the quality of the stickers needing improvement.

I thought it was appropriate there too. Kyota moved it here.
I can move it back.

:haha:  hell in a handbasket.........

Never mounted mine yet but I've had similar experiences with other stickers.  Some have been on my back window since getting the truck in 99 while others barely last a year.

What about putting that clear plasticky coating on them after install?  I used to do that on my dirtbike to help protect the stickers on the side panels and fenders and it totally helped them last longer.

Hmmm, mine comes off all the time I keep putting it back on but for some reason it comes off everytime I wash my truck. Oh wait I have mine mounted to a magnetic backing...... nevermind.  :gap: :_oops:

seems like everyone agrees with you. I too have suffered from sticker issues. I have even considered removing them alltogether, but I gotta represent.

The white sticky stuff is hard to clean off the truck too.

Yeah I used to have one on my front fender but it started peeling after a year. It seems the sun is their biggest enemy, they fade pretty quick unless you garage your truck every night (which I dont have a garage of my own to use overnight) and the corners start to peel like the previous pictures showed. On the other hand I have had this little Apple computer sticker on my window for 3 years and it still looks brand new. Figure out a new sticker formula!! I dont put them on anymore because they become "defective" so quickly!!

Well, I know that isn't FFC's problem!!!

:bolt:

:hahaha:

Big Mike,
Did you guys change your sticker company?  I know my sticker is at least 2 years old, and it still looks fine.  Dirtbag actually had it, and I have no idea how long he had it when he gave it to me :dunno:

The other companies have superior stickers that last for years and years and years and....

Wow, I just saw this thread for the first time just now and i am having the same problem. Mine the colored part peals off and left the white backing, the white part sticks fine.
