Defective Product
« on: Jul 13, 2007, 08:06:45 AM »
While I have the upmost faith in Marlin Crawler products, I have to say, I am starting to get dissapointed with one. I have many of these products, and after installation there always seems to be the same result no matter what vehicle it is installed on, the product does not come with installation instructions, for obvious reasons, and I have installed them to the best of my ability. I always clean all mounting surfaces and take my time with each installation. I've used All-Pro's product (almost the same) and I've had no problems at all. I'm not sure what the difference is, but maybe you guys could collaberate and discuss the differences, maybe it's the manufacturer? It is one of my favorite products that you distribute, and I have no plans to stop using it. I have installed at least 20 so far, and the same thing happens every time. Maybe it is the heat (Tracy is about 95-110 degrees all the time) or maybe I'm just missing something...who knows. Anyway, I would like to see the issue resolved...

Pictures to follow... :gap:

Ok, so the first picture is kinda far away, but I have included a close up shot.

I also included a picture of AllPro's product.

And no, it's not just because of the roll-down rear window, they have also done this on my pick-up and on my buddy's Samurai.
