hey did you pull the plugs after cleaning the carb or befor or at the same time maybe you already fixed your problem

when I had to "engineer" a vacuum leak so i would lean out enough to smog, I pulled the thermo valve line, just after the tee to the MC valve. Leaned out pretty good, it's a direct manifold port. I would look there, your charcoal canister hoses as well, esp. where it goes onto the carb.

Why not just cap off/remove all lines that don't directly effect running Mine is an 80 and all I have hooked up is vaccuum advance and brake booster, though I am running a weber. I did have everything hooked up at one time but decided to simlify things a little.
