No idea what it was, Duffil adjusted the TPS a the trailhead and that did nothing, so I decided I was going to run the trail even if I had to idle through the whole thing, and it all of a sudden started working again. Later on the trail I turned off the truck, then turned it back on and same thing, kinda sounds like it's running on 2 cyl. Then it started running perfect again. :screwy:

Check your spark plug wires, I had the same problem & went to change the plugs & found that the wire that crimps to the clip that snaps onto the spark plug was gone & the boot was holding the wire in place. Also I had a coil crack & the spark would jump to ground. Wait until it's dark, have someone crank the engine & see if the spark is jumping. Did any onf the wires get burned by the exhaust? I had that problem too  :crossed: :twocents:

I actuly have a spare tps. I dont know if it works I got it from a wercking yard but you are welcome to try it. I also work in livermore so I could drop it off after work some day.
