Placerville, KOA
« on: May 24, 2007, 09:45:25 AM »
We'll be parking the LBC there again this year and was wondering how many others are planning on staying there. Yes, it's costly but it makes us feel more safe about our home on wheels being there. We come too far to take chances at less secure campgrounds.

Sounds like most will be going up closer on Ice House Road this year.

Depending on the timing we may either go up to Robbs and meet up with you all on Thur. night or leave really early Friday morning to wake you all up.

We'll decide more as it gets closer, but if others are planning on being at that the KOA we might be able to make arrangements for group camping, I'm not sure how that works or if we can get a discount for a certain # of people but we can find out.

Dunno.  I am driving my wheeling rig, so I'll be camped wherever I park at.  I won't be getting up there till thursday after work., so maybe 8-9 o clock if I leave straight from NAPA.

We'll probably be at the campground late afternoon. CT will be with us too, he's living the Beastmaster there as well.
I don't know if we'll go up to Rob's that night to meet up with Mini and the rest of the gang, or get up at the crack :moon: of dawn to hit the road. If there's only a couple of us we'll be able to get out of there early.

 YOU BETCHA! We won't be making breakfast for the Rubicon 11, we'll be able to head out before dark.
I'd really like to stay at Robs on Thur. but we'll have to play that by ear.
