They are factory JDM spec twin turbos that will be running at 11 ish psi. I want to keep everything stock and reliable.

Nice build.  You are making the 2jz swap look way too easy and now I want to do it.  Is that the same truck?  The front cowl looks tan and your other truck was blue and white. 

Same truck yes, the fenders and hood are bright white primer, hopefully getting sprayed the factory tan soon.

I kinda doubt it but maybe, it would depend on my work contract. I was hoping MCR13 would have been in September. MCR14 for sure, I would like the drive the truck down the coast with the wifey and make a good holiday out of it next year.


Thanx for the comments dudes. The truck is coming along nicely. I have it 99% wired up now and the "to do" list is getting smaller. Sorry I haven't had time to keep this thread updated but i'll try and get a video up this week. She runs super smooth and makes the 7m sound like an old tractor motor

I only had about 6 wires to hookup for the engine wiring but dam it took a long time to finish it all up. I tossed new braided sleeve on everything else in the process. Its busy but at least no stray wires. Also note the igniter mounts under the dash and doesn't just dangle there 

This is where everything ties into the factory cab harness, still uses factory gauge cluster.

Small update ...got the new heat exchanger installed. The truck is pretty much ready to go, I just need my 1 wire 240amp alternator to show up.

Sorry no video yet. The truck worked great for a first time out. I had some issues with the fuel pump control so I ended up wiring it direct off ign for now. We thought the fuel was vaporizing at first (that's why the hoods off). Other then that no issues besides needing a better power steering pump and some new valve stem seals. Check out some pics














You can see here im trying to crawl up with the starter...I didn't quite have enough fuel in the tank to keep the motor running on this angle...noob mistake

I am thinking of a 2jzte swap. How much room to do have between the front and the core support?  If I used a water to air intercooler could you fit a radiator?
