Hey Marlin dudes. I've had the truck out a few times this winter bombin through snow. It works really well, I love the 7m power.
The plan is to hit up BHCC this July and then hopefully Marlin Roundup in fall.

I got this beast yesterday! Hopefully the other Toyota parts will hold up the extra ponies....

Thanx guys! I'm excited for the 2jz but i'll take my time with it. As is the truck runs great with the 7m and power levels are great. These JDM JZ's are getting hard to come by so I wanted to snatch one up before they are gone. The plan is to run BHCC and MCR13 with the 7m then change out the motor next winter. Now that I have a backup powerplant I cant wait to crank the boost up on the 7m. It should make a huge difference from 6psi to 14 ish! and BigMike no way the paint will ever change!

First mock up...

Motorside is 2jz, tranny side r150. A member on pirate did the work for me. Has a small fab/machining business. Both halves were milled then welded in a custom centering jig he made.

More parts.

We're also working on making some modifications to the bed of the truck. New fuel cell, crossmember and shock hoops.

The 2JZ universal wiring harnes. Should be a cakewalk install.

Things are starting to come together. More parts arrived from Drift Motion as-well as Summit. Once my new metal melter shows up I can get this swap finished! This unit is on its way from KMS Tools.

Stock PS reservoir modified to hold more juice and a jic fitting welded on the return line. I decided to follow all the tuner kids and put a sweat band on it in case of overfills.

200 Amp Alternator

USDM Water pump installed

Rear sump pan installed

Tigged up some motor mounts

Motor back together with the new harness installed

I was schoolgirl giddy when the UPS man showed up with this stuff...

Things have been coming along with the motor swap. Its crazy how much time it takes to round up all the little pieces and wait for parts. I pretty much just need to mount up the new rad and take care of a little wiring. Should be all ready for Black Hill Cruiser Classic!

Intercooler and ps cooler complete.

Coolant lines are a tight fit but Im happy with the routing.

Waterjetted hose mounts

New shroud getting cut

Im stoked to have the ps pump back on the proper side.

Also no more bulky 7m afm as the jdm 2jz uses a map sensor.

Fresh OEM engine cover

MK4 Supra throttle cable fit perfect.

Bleeder for the rear mount rad

Deleted the unused traction control and mount a new blow off valve.

tranny skid

Chuyota

This build is bada$$!!! Keep up the awesome work!!!!

All I can say is DAMN! This thing is so badass.... You picked the perfect build name for it too! Keep up the great work! :beerchug:

Nice build.  You are making the 2jz swap look way too easy and now I want to do it.  Is that the same truck?  The front cowl looks tan and your other truck was blue and white.
