Your talking about a SM420 and yes we make an adapter that will enable you to run a gear driven Toyota transfercase (RF1A) directly behind the 4 speed GM tranny.

Click here for more details on our ToyBox adapter, Part Number: MC20

Here is an example of P/N# MC20 on the SM420, Courtesy of River City Rock Crawlers:

Our MC 20 adapter is a two peice design, and is only 1.5" long.
First you bolt the front plate to the back of the SM420, and then bolt the second plate to the front of the pick up t/case.
Finally, both plates are then bolted togeather with the supplied 6 outer bolts.
This kit also includes a 10 spline female input gear that was made in Japan by the orginal gear cutter.
We also supply the front housing of the pick up t/case that has been modified to accept a larger input bearing that is also supplied.

if i order the kit ur talking about i can just bolt my toyota transfer case right too the back of my sm420 tranny and just run 1 toyota transfer case behind it for now, then buy my duelcase adapter later, and do i have to run the landcruiser transfercase or can i run my truck transfercase like u were saying i think.

We have adapters to bolt the single mini-truck gear driven t-case to the SM420, or you can add a dual case or even bolt up a one or two peice [split] Land Cruiser case.

Please give us a call and ask for Cruiser Dave, he can explain how it works.
