I also taught him how to put in 5min of hard work and then spend 15min staring and admiring what you have done...

price has been raised to 7500 and is relatively firm. The trans has just undergone a full rebuild as well as the transfer case. This was due to the previous owner when the trans was mated to the motor not installing a pilot bushing so it is all back together with a trans and transfer rebuild and a new clutch. I also took out the body lift while i was in there since it wasn't truly needed. So i am buttoning this thing up and redoing the trans hump and frame tie ins right now but when it's done i'm wanting to sell it. So i just put around 1500 into this thing to sing sweet and only asking 1000 more then before but its going to be good to run when shes done.

I have been looking at this since he posted it last year.

desertboy

well it is still available i bit the bullet and listed it on craigslist yesterday, after a year or so. It has been getting driven and will kill me to sell but i can't have it on insurance (cost) so it sits until i can have it trailered to a trail otherwise i drive it around the block a couple times.

It's listed on craigslist now for 7250 so we shall see

Looks like you're on your way to some decent money for the rig. A few buddies have had great luck selling Cruisers on Ebay.

Good luck.

desertboy

yeah after all the people looking for a restored rig/ crawler/ dd/ show car it seems ebay may work out. As long as the winner isn't a tirekicker wanting me to hold the rig. i've had way to many of those and the wifie needs a new car before the jetta grenades. I dont think her car will last the winter so this vehicle is unfortunatly going to be a deposit though i want my old truck back

Thanks for the good words brenden

Looks like you're going to do well.    Should have enough to get a car for your wife AND your old truck back.(I'm figuring $7000 from the bidding so far)

Replacement car, you might consider a lease.  There are $169 leases on a few cars right now, or get an old Civic or similar.  Not very glamorous, but it works for cheap.

desertboy

lease a car :scared: she drives about 3000-3500 miles a month so that won't work, she needs a very reliable car as she has to drive a ton for work. And car not working equals no pay. So she has to have something fairly new as we have been through a civic and now a jetta in the two years of her current job.

And i would be happy with 7k
