my buddy has a 97 runner for sale. he said i could get it for 4000. i think it is worth it. but it has got 3.slow and the auto trany is bad. dose any one have a trany or a sugestion?

yea man  the last year for the 3.0  was 95,  he needs to check the  manufactured date,  cause something aint right

i'd try and work down the price from 4000.... due to the blown tranny. not sure where your location is but around here the nice clean 4 runners with no bad trannies go for that much.

I've seen them locally for less than $3000 on CL.  I ran across one for $1200, all because of the bad 3.0.

haha, i was reading it and was like 85s dont have a 3.0 either.....

$2500 is what they go for around here

with a bad trans and keeping in mind if its as cherry as you say it is inside and out, the most i would offer is 3000...... on a good day.

thats the prob he owes 4000 and he is my boy and i dont want to screw him. maybe he will get lucky
