my buddy has a 97 runner for sale. he said i could get it for 4000. i think it is worth it. but it has got 3.slow and the auto trany is bad. dose any one have a trany or a sugestion? :confused:

yea man  the last year for the 3.0  was 95,  he needs to check the  manufactured date,  cause something aint right

it SHOULD have a 3.4

i'd try and work down the price from 4000.... due to the blown tranny. not sure where your location is but around here the nice clean 4 runners with no bad trannies go for that much.

I've seen them locally for less than $3000 on CL.  I ran across one for $1200, all because of the bad 3.0.

with a bad trans and keeping in mind if its as cherry as you say it is inside and out, the most i would offer is 3000...... on a good day.
