front disks question?
« on: Apr 25, 2007, 08:53:47 PM »
I am gathering parts for a vented roter upgrade on my 82 4x4.
I will be picking up 8 hole roters and 86 or newer v-6 calipers. Being on a budget can this be done with out the use of wheel spacers? and how do you post pictures? Thanks for the help.

You will need fj-60 vented rotors, as far as the spacers go I believe if you don't use the calipers with the vent ribs [ which are v6's ]you should be OK. As far as the pic's go I use reply button and than the attachment button not the quick reply.

To post pictures.
1) Hit the Preview button on the bottom.  (Open up the "advance" posting screen)
2) Hit "Additional Options"
3) Add your attachments.  Note they need to be an internet friendly file format.  JPEG or such.
4) click post

You will get an error if it can't post the picture, and it should give a reason why it can't post it.

You'll need a shallow backspacing on your wheels, they need to stick out a little.

The back spacing is about 3" I will pick up calipers with out the ribs and will see what happens.
I will get some more fist gen. pictures up when I get back in town.
Thanks for the info Bill
