what did you do for proportining? I used the doohickey from a 4wheel disk car along with the MC, but all my braking is in the front so I do the mighty dive when I stop :(

I wonder if I can just take the proportioning valve I got apart and adjust it somehow..

I'd say that with such a mixed bunch of parts, you would need something that is adjustable. Summit sells a valve for pretty cheap. Same valve that Front Range sells in their kit. I don't think their kit would work for you. It is set up to work with a stock rig.

Hehe, I'm in brake hell too "my conversion" I think I'm down to a bleeding issue now.

I think the adjustable is the way to go. Running and adapting lines is a pain but being able to adjust it with a quick twist of a knob would make things a snap.

I have also read about people adding a residual pressure valve on the rear system.

I'm using a '70 Vette MC (1" bore) on my cruzah front / Monte Carlo rear, and have a very universal proportioning valve, similar to what Summit sells, for mine..  works fine.

You could get cool and mount the valve in the cab near the shifters to adjust it "on the fly" if you saw fit...  I never touch mine.

Im using a 92 V6 cast iron master on with the willwood 10 risidule valve after the load valve in the rear. Monte carlo front calipers with the 88 GM IFS Front rotors with centers machined out on my 85 runner. no problems at all stops on dime.
