Here's what I have been working on for the last 2 years. Its a fully automated spray forming machine for producing parts for our medical device we manufacture.

And this is my new baby. Its an excimer laser that drills holes in the parts made from the automated machine. I work as an R&D tech at a major medical device company.

This is the first one of the class, I am going to audit the 3rd.  It should be in a similar condition to the photo but likely still indoors.

I don't know what the cost of one of these is, but a Seawolf Class sub base price was 2+ billion, Denver International Airport final cost was about 2 billion.

I work at a machine shop when i'm not at school.  My boss is awesome because he lets me steel our scrap steel for my creations at home and give me full access to all of our machines when I'm not working.  We've got 2 CNC Mills, a 12 foot sheer which cuts up to 1/2 inch steel and has computer controlled measuring system.  A Massive pattern torch, 120 ton Press and mulitple other tools that are awesome for fabing.  Oh I forgot to mention that we've got a powdercoating setup as well that I can use.

I've always wanted to drive one of those

RockSlayer

I drove one every once in a while while I was in the Marine Corp.  :usa: They don't go to fast. They can pull a jet because the body is made out of 1/4" steel or better, and it has a incredibly low geared rear axle. I actually pushed a 20,000 lbs. 20 foot "C" contain about 15 ft across a concrete pad with little problem.

MR_DIY

I haul construction equipment. woohoo.  It's fun and a cool job to me.   :yesnod:
