soo i finally got my 22rte back new pics added> build started

so  some of the stuff done to it is   it was bored slightly , preasure honed,  coated bearings, new pistons( stock not forged)  ss valved that are 1 mm bigger,  gasket matched intake some polishing and porting,  i got the late model intake  and dual friction centerforce clutch( bought it before i found out about marlins clutch kits)  i am going to run a ct26 turbo off a supra,  bigger afm and 440 cc injectors larger fuel pump and an intercooler( either front mount garret or a SIDEMOUNT OFF A NEWER AUDI THAT I PICKED UP CHEAP.   also as far as the build of the 4runner  here is a list of parts i have accumilated over the last 2 -3 years.  turbo tranny dual case adapter mco7r10, 4.7 gears, fror crossmember r10, rear elocker with 86 housing,  front high pinion e-locker, ( looking to get some longfields soon)  hummer rims and tires( still need to get them recenteres.  i have the 36 hummer tires, and a set of procomp xterrein 33 inch tires right now.  i have 6 inch lift spring from alcan for the front and 3 inch lift procomp chevy springs for the rear,  sky's  chevy install kit.  4x4 labs hysteer arms.  i have budbuilts reat shock mount and skys rear shock mount ( havent decided wich i want to run.)  i have fror  ifs mount kit,  i have sky's  front axle widening kit.  12voltguys winch controller and dual battwery kit,  i have fror bumper and front crossmember brace.  i have  a half of a soft top i need to finish.  i have 2 ranch 9012 and 2 older 9012 5 position shocks.  in cab contoller for them, a milemarker 8000 pound winch , a marlin front ubolt flip kit.  a set of 488 gears ( need to get a 2nd set and install kit) a rear ubolt flip kit.  some bushwacker fender flares to keep me leagal,  and a jeff mosk 3 guage pod for my a piller and  a bunch of other stuff...... i cant remember it all but i will probably have a bunch of stuff left over i dont even need

stuff i still need to accuire is some rock sliders, and another set of 488 gears  i think that is it.


i also have ss brake lines a bigger mc and dual diaphram brake booster,  i have lc front roters,  i have a msd ignition and coil,  i have a sky driveline brake set up,  i have so much i need to get working so i can actually drive this thing!!!! i have a custom rear bumper.  planing on making a rear tire carrier. ohh and a allpro interior cage.  still need to install everything lol.

ha ha yeah.  my screen on my phone is cracked so i cant see when i take the pics.  yeah i got it on ebay.  it cam all scratched up but it still looks good. i want to paint the intake too,  but i have a red decal and blue spark plug wires lol.

thanks i still have to decide what color to paint the  upper intake  bottom im leaving gray im thinking black or blue or red.  4runner is blue wires are blue turbo decal is red.  hope to work on it tommarow

i just pulled my exhaustmanifold out and found out it has a crack.  now i got to get a new one!

Take it to a shop and have them burn it, would be cheaper than buying a new turbo manifold.

its cast.  from what i understand you have to keep it glowing hot to get the welds to hold.  it is a little warped.  it is 250 new from toyota

I'd check around, possibly the machine shop or exhaust shop, and see if anyone can make you one for less than the stock one.

so i got a stock exhaust manifold and im gettoing it ported and cleaned up and fitted for the ct26.  got new pic of my engine to come soon i just have to up load them captain 4x2 helped me throw my ac pump and pawer sterering stuff and my motor mounts on.  i may have to start a build up thread now.  we even got my transmission installed
