Love any year Camaro till 93. 70-73's are my fav. with the 3rd gen. coming in right behind those. I really miss my 84. :rivers: I do like anything that will go fast though I really don't care for the sport compacts. I don't hate them but I would never buy/build one.  There is no replacement for displacment!!!! :driving:

I have always loved the first gen. Camaros

Thats not a car thats a golf shiny golf cart but someone forgot to add a place for the clubs. My first ride was a 79 chevy blazer  that may be what started my love for old chevys and v8s.

It had a real wood dash, a hard top for the winter and convertible for the summer and manual windshield wiper fluid pump (there was a pushbutton on the dash that you would pump to squirt wiper fluid) top speed was 70 mph (downhill)  :psss: it was a chick magnet lol

It's funny the similarities with yours and my brother's car tastes.  His first car was an mgb, he loved that dang car.  He was really heavy into mg's back then, you may wanna bump any questions his way if you come across something you don't know about.  His friend took a suzuki sammy, yanked the engine and running gear and made a tube chassis to make an mg midget 4wd.

I love my 2000 contour svt with like 1800 into the car exhaust, cold air, injectors kn, omishi drop kit. it runs a 14.1 this summer I hope to have it down in the 13s. Not bad for a 4 door  N/a automatic, I also love the handling, it really is amazing for a ford contour. But I love old muscle cars mustangs, cameros, javelins  never really liked the novas or chevelles, dont know why they just never cought my eye.

In all honesty, I love v-8's but have only ever owned 2, a 71 gmc with an olds 307 and a 06 dakota :smack:.

I love the rumble, the way that crusing is just effortless... unfortuantly I have absolutly no selfcontrol what so ever and drive the toyota because it is something I can build and have fun with while at the same time, as long as I keep the 22r, on some roads it is almost imposible for me to get a speeding ticket :D. Now that I am starting to get it running right that might change though:(.

My dream project is a 1985 fiero GT with a 32V northstar in it, just the idea of having that little car with that much motor gives me goosebumps, and if ever the stock 300 hp is not enough I heard somewhere they are making turbo kits for the northstar now. I give my Drivers license a about 2 weeks if I ever manage to build this.
There is a fine line between clever and stupid, I just wish I knew when I crossed it.

He was also in a short lived sitcom with the boy from the Cosby show.

I find I've grown out of my huge HP and 0-60 time fascination I had as teenager.   I'd rather know I can jump in and drive it cross country without worrying about getting stranded or towed some place.  I trusted my 90 4runner with 240k on it more than any of the brand new american junk my dad has owned.  Not to sound 100% anti american, I still wish I'd kept the Traveller I drove at 16, what a beast.
