I just opened my axle up a couple days ago because I thought I blew a birf (ended up being ring and pinion). I bought some of the original HD seals back when they first came out, which was what? Two or three years ago? Well anyways, I did not have a drop of gear oil in the knuckles, and the grease was almost as clean as new. I am very impressed by these seals and the knuckle rebuild kit in general. Thank you guys for a great product! I have one of your HD pinion seals on my rear diff too, and it is still working great as well. I tried a parts store replacement, and it just leaked. Thank you for your great seals! I will have to try some of the new ones next time.
