shackels, i cant spell

ive herd of people using two shackles to make a simple version of the revolver from taraflex, i was wondering if i would get some desent pics of what it looks like and some input on how it affects driving on the road. thanx for any help. :driving: :headscratch: :help:

find someone that has done the Chevy rear spring swap. Thats what most of them use.
Build them. Don't buy them

If you buy chevy springs, some will come with the stock shackles.  You can use those shackales along with the lift shcakles you have to make a double shackle.  It will use the stock shackle mounts on the frame.  Once all the weight is off of the springs the double shackle will start to extend.  i can get some pics of mine for you in a couple days.  hopefully that help.

 :thumbs: :yupyup: Nice fit! How does this ride and has it every folded in backwards? At what angle should the shackle come off the frame when  :headscratch: parked on level ground?

the ride is great much better than stock because the leaf is so long it has never folded back on me and the droop is awsone check out the rear flec those are 35's

Now do you get alot of tire hop with that much droop? Or does it have a enough force pushing it down ?

havent had that much problem i have the pinion andle shimed 4* and the driveline crossmembre lowered 1" it is at a decent angel

On mine I welded a tab of 3/8 flat bar to the Chevy (top) shackle so when they try to go backwards it will hit on the shackle hanger. I jacked the truck up and watched where the shackle wanted to go the wrong way and welded the tabs on just before that point.
