Ive had a snow run planned since December ish and now its SNOWING SO MUCH and my motor is knocking.

So about my motor... I havent been driving it much. It only knocks when its not under a load at 3K RPM ish. Check engine light is constantly on from it. Not only that its not that loud (the knocking)

IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO TRY TO FIND A NEW MOTOR! so, that said... thats why I probably cant get a new one in.
RIP Kyota.... you are the man

You're an idiot, but try it, what the hell, why not, there is no guarantee that the motor will die on the run. It might wait until you are 15 miles from home.

Dude, now even you are pulling out of the lilbuddy's annual snow run. I guess you can't hack on me anymore :tease:

Also, just drop your pan and check your rod bearings before you blow up the whole engine. Stop being such a goofball

I had a truck that had a rod knock & put over 2,000 miles on it before I fixed it. If your engine still has power I say run some straight 50W & go  :crossed: Your going to fix it when you get back anyway  :twocents: I've seen used car lots sell cars with 80/90W  :smack: Scary but true :hammerhead:

Or you can ride with someone.

im thinking that will work unless its dies somewhere where that is jsut so far from civilization that towed on a strap wont cut it.....

i towed my truck with a 2wd ford ranger with a towstrap tied to the swaybar the otehr end of the strap was jsut around the ball on the bumper

I seam to remember that gear oil does not like soft metals like the kind you find in eng. bearings.
