That sounds familiar  :ha_ha: It reminded me of playing the Ivan Stewart "Super Offroad" arcade game at Pizza Hut, except Super Offroad was more gratifying.

Do you think some good seats and harnesses aren't worth it? I'm conscerned with my sons saftey, espescially after the atv accident a couple weeks ago. I have put my truck on its side before with him in there and altough it was the hardest flop I have ever encountered, it could have been alot worse. Since buying the longs I'm no longer afraid to beat on my little truck and I have really stepped up the level of wheeling Ive been doing.I found some seats on pirate for $200 each and some 3x3 belts for 55 a seat and was really considering that my next perchase.

I really want a four seater, so I could take my daughter and or whoever else with me as well as my son.  Thing is I love my little truck and don't want to start over unless I could just sell it and start fresh. If I seem confused then it is prolly couse I am! I won't know what to do if I don't have something to build on, and the little red truck goes so good I hate to change it. This little toy already wheels circles around most of the group I normally wheel with, and thats not just becouse they are driving jeeps either. It is nice to come home from a trip and wonder what is next instead of having to fix what you broke. There are a number of things I have considered doing to it but I can't rightfully justify any of them.
1 seats/belts
2 propane (I would prefer a 3rz but if it aint broke don't fix it)
3 link rear (coilovers would be cool)
4 header
5 bigger tires (which would require some more lift , or a   new front hybrid pack at least)
6 still yet to finnish my 6 dowl pin mod
7 fix the brake on my warn upright winch
8 cup holders, and mabye a console
9 rock lights (some of which I have, but I hate wiring)
10 beadlocks (even though I have yet to loose a bead or be denied due to running 10 lbs of air)
11 4.7 in the rear case so I don't have to fuss with the clutch so much
12 I know there is more

So what would you do next? Are there any other thing you would do for the ultimate low slung all toy crawler?

Well, it sounds like you have a tough decision to make my friend......u want to carry more people but you cant in the current rig. The current rig works great and you probably wont get as much as you think it is worth if you sell it. U know how much work it has taken to get to this point..do you really want to start over? If you started over you could improve on many things that you learned from the current build....

You still have a lot of things that you COULD do to the current rig to improve and you know this...

First and foremost..
-Belts/seats (especially since you have a cage and are expecting flops)
-I would link it. More flex never hurt anything.
-Increase recovery options....onboard welder, winches, (do you have onboard air? :headscratch: ) additional recovery points
-Performance (like you said, engine swap or propane and header)
-Are bigger tires/more lift necessary? I like how low the rig is now
-You could convert to disc brakes
 :dunno:

not sure if this helps

I'm really wheighing it out between seats and propane. Would one tank of propane last for a 3 day trip wheeling whith at least one night run included in those 3 days.
I vote seats.

Ask Hyena about propane.

if you can afford it, I would go with 10s, just for the wider contact patch.

That would essentially give me an 11"wheel. I worry about a wider wheel making my tires shorter but with the extremely low air pressures I want to run thats gonna happen anyway. :headscratch:

imo, a narrower rim holds a better bead at lowwer pressures. go with 15x8 the DIY beadlock ring will make it just shy of 9in wide, and that is plenty for your tires.
