I like the rear axle protection, looks good.  I take it your front diff was open before.  I have the same tires and was going to just leave the front open until I got 30 spliners.

You should have made use of your pickup and drove up the ratchet handle to break the nut loose!

the difference in the hubs is the depth of where that snapring in from the base of the hub.  an ifs hub would be deeper which moves the hub gear in a tiny bit so you cant get on the snapring or unlock the hub once its assembled.  they work fine if you dont mind taking them all the way apart to unlock them.  I have ran them before but they are not ideal.

here is my delima. I am mounting the ram for the hydro assist and I don't like how it is gonna have to fit in there. I am contimplating mounting the cylinder to the frame oppisite the steering box with the other end connected to the draglink.
Any opinions on doing it this way? I think it would be better fo a couple od reasons. First the ram will be sheilded by the spring hanger and second the lines wont hang low enough to get snaged by anything.
I'm gonna mock everything up this afternoon. If you can think of any reasons not to mount it this way please post up and save me from doing 2x the work.

I would just mount it normal. It is protected pretty well on top of the axle. Unless you are trying to make those short lines work, I would mount on the axle.
