Engine Removal from a lifted truck

Well I have never owned a truck that sat up so high, I am trying to figure out how to get this 350 out of my 87 Chevy that has a 3" lift, I'm not sure the Cherry picker will get it high enough to clear the truck.  I suppose I could disassemble the whole front grill and all but I'd rather avoid that extra work.  Any suggestions??? (besides go back to Toyotas lmao)

Rent a small crane or skid steer. Yea it would be overkill but the pics would be cool! Hey you could put some bigger wheels and a lift kit on the cherry picker. I seriously have a friend who is like 6'6", and his engine stand and work benches are all like a foot taller than mine. Kinda weird to becouse I like lifted trucks and he likes mustang drag carswith a low stance.

Take of the tires and just mount some wheels without tires.

the ramrod dude has got it. i drop my 6in lift k5 on the rotors every time(which is too often)

The driveway wouldn't like it on a warm day but otherwise I see no problem.

We did the skid loader engine swap once. The skidloader had weak brakes and my 454 ended up bouncing of the windshield of my pickup. Talk about an operation.

Block's under the cherry picker would work great until you wated to move it. You would have to move the truck away from the cherry picker.

Have you ever done a motor swap on gravel? The cherry picker don't move there either. I was completely joking about putting anything underneath the cherry picker. That would be unstable and fun to watch.

i cant believe people actually DO use cinder blocks as jack stands....I've actually chopped thru a cinder block in karate class when i was like 8. if u hit one with a small hammer they will shatter. people are so stupid  there i feel better now
