Hey all, I'm a NoOb ... I decide to join this place after months of snoopin around on the tech sections and getting all my problems solved.. i figured it was my time to lend a hand...haha

Well i live in Oregon .. the rainy state .. I'm 22 and graduated last year with an associates in Automotive Technology.... a fancy was of saying grease monkey 101.. i have built hot rods... restored vintage collectible cars and was a European mechanic for 2 years (the high end stuff.. Mercedes, Porsche, and BMW)But now i am On my way to becoming a UPS Driver haha...

I have never really messed around with 4x4's but, i have always had a passion of them...
i recently bought a 1979' Toyota 4WD . .. runnin 33"s with  a 4" lift ... stock 20r.. and a dieing 4speed tranny..  :smack: but it gets me out of some nasty loggin roads ...

well that about sums it up

i will catch ya'll on the forums

Peace

Not all of Oregon's rigs are rusted out!  That's why I don't go to Sandlake!  If I do I spend the next week getting all the sand and salt off, out of, and anywhere it may reside!

True, with the proper care I can see how it might be avoided. Just A little surprised to see a vehicle of that vintage in Oregon with NONE  :eyebrow:  California has it's issues as well if you live in a beachfront city. I was in Sandlake about 3 years ago. Wife and I spent 2 weeks in Oregon. We had a blast, Went from Astoria to Coos bay and some inland stuff too. Portland, Salem and so on. Your from Tillamook right, Cheesemaker? We even took the tour at Tillamook cheese factory. Probably lame for you, but we thought it was pretty cool. We did enjoy visiting Oregon a lot, 'cept for not pumping your own gas, that was kinda weird for me. Anyway, still is a nice truck you got there TimberFaller. Hope to see some add-ons in time.
