there are quite a few threads on it... for 1, the 22r will never be a powerhouse, you must realize this... having said that, an better exhaust, and a cam are the best things you can do to a 22r

if you want some power out of a 22r check out www.lcengineering.com they make some sweet stuff for yota motors.  If I had a 22r I would get the supercharger they offer and the header and cam kit.  Make the 4 cylinder climb overpasses with ease.
