TDS MAY BE POSPONED AND RELOCATED???

A club member on our bb just posted that TDS may be postponed and moved to another location, if anyone has better and more accurate info it would be appreciated.

As far as I know they're having another meeting on Sunday the 28th.Word is after that we'll have a definate answer,but who knows,We were supposed to have a definate answer last Tuesday.I also heard rumor that it would still be held in the same location and still have vendors and a raffle,just not an organized run,IOW everyone would just be running whatever trails and they wouldn't be marked so who knows at this point.I'll post up if I hear anything.

I heard on my local news last night that an event that was scheduled has been canceled until the court decides what to do. As usual it wasn't a comprehensive or informative news report.

tds is on schedual but is being moved to ocotillo wells instead of truckhaven they are going to send out letters to the people that have registerd with more info

My club is still going to TDS, there was some debate on still going to Truckhaven but it was decided to not go and cause an issue with the whole area still in the planning stages for an OHV area.

There's gonna be alot of people at TruckHeaven still.You can still go and wheel there,it's just the actual event that is not gonna be held there.I talked to Bo from TDS today.

Actually the person I talked to from the club Tierra Del Sol told me that we ARE allowed to go to TruckHeaven,Just the event itself cannot be held there.I asked just to be on the safe side,I'm good friends with Mike Bishop and originally he had told me to spread the word about not even driving overthere but he called me the other day and told me the same thing as the TDS club member.Guess we'll play it by ear,you gonna be out there RS?.

Yes you're right it is open and is why I was glad that TDS did get permits elsewhere so the greenies don't use it against us. My club was just there last month and they now have houses all the way to the the end of the pavement.

I will be there, but I will camp in the area at the north end of Pole Line rd. That way I am about 30 min from Ocotillo Wells, and 5 min from Truckhaven.
