Thats what I need. Nice!!!
Reminds me of the setup travis (ATF) had at flat nasty. He had a pavilion set up where the truck is parked on the trailer.....stay nice and dry up off the ground...verrrrry nice

Thanks , we like the set up so far. The pic is as we were leaving for Tellico and Windrock over Christmas and New Years :beerchug: What fun we had there!!!  Tellico had some ice and snow.  Slick Rock was almost a no go.  Windrock had more favorable weather, then there was the Lone Star Jamboree,  weather was good for Friday, anyway and we had a blast.

We also thought about putting something like a pop up on the gooseneck and gettting a shorter trailer but we already had the camper.  Those pop ups are expensive!!!

79coyotefrg

yea they are  expensive  :thud:

hey  you have that  piece around the side for tieing straps too,  you could  make it so it slides over that  and  has  steps down with a rail or something

I am trying to come up with some sort of plan for that very thing, I was thinking out of aluminum so it would not be so heavy to carry from one side to the other

79coyotefrg

that would be a good idea,  alum  or  light tubing  with expanded metal  on the steps

Been through there a few times going to Ocean Springs Mississippi until Hurricane Katrina took everything!  The 4 Runner was under 7 feet of salt water but she was brought back to life within 7 days of the flood!! YOU CAN'T EVEN DROWN A TOYOTA!

Maybe we can get together at Gilmer or Hot Springs some time and wheel, let me know if you are ever up this way.

Thanks for the welcome and the comments,  we love the setup so far.  We went all last year staying in hotels and tents at places like Tellico, Greyrock, Gilmer, Wheelin in the Country and Gardendale and we love being able to be sleep right there were the trails are in comfort and being there for all the after ride parties!!!

We need to go down to South America or Europe and bring some back.  I bet we could go there and get a few of those diesel FJ's and bring those back!  I belive you can ship one of those containers that they load on ships with all you can put in one for about $600
