I do have plenty to back it up, not only is there a brief experience of mine on that thread but I have a court date next Monday in Cali with DOA. Since there is so much creditable evidence on this thread coupled with my experience too, its seems logical to point others towards this to keep others from making possibly a bad choice. If this is out of line then  how does one help fellow inthusiasts??? If the moderators feel this is inappropiate then they can delete the thread. BTW I did not start the thread on Yota tech.

DTB, he is announcing there is a thread on yotatech with displeasure expressed with DOA and wants anyone with experience of displeasure to post up

I don't know what DOA is, but I see that Homeless Dogs original post to post up here was removed.

If you are refering to the thread on Yota tech my posts are still there. The thread is so long there are 2 pages. I f you are referring to this thread my computor shows all my threads are still here. I did modify the original and also the second one On this thread for some mispelled words. Please clarify Mrs. W. what you mean. My two posts are on the second page about half way down.

Lady Di

My bad, I modified my previous post, it was just another one that your removed yourself, I thought someone else removed it.

There is a post in the recycle bin, but the board has been acting up so I can't say what is going on, BUT I will say this to come on this board a stir up crap about someone that has nothing to do with this board is not right.

I suspect that you will be the one being attacked here.

So go on and explain away, but please post a link so everyone can decide for them selves how they want to respond.

Again this all just drama at this point and not needed here.

As you were.

I can attest with personal experience that Time at DOA was a pleasure to do business with and took time out of his day many times to answer questions that I had. In fact, he forgot to send some clips with my original order, and one brief phone call later, they were on there way. I spend a lot of time between marlincrawler and pirate and I haven't heard many (if any) bad opinions of DOA. In fact, go over to pirate and you'll notice Tim is somewhat of a regular, answering questions and helping people using his wealth of knowledge. Tim has done great things for us (offroad toyota ethusiasts). It seems to me you are just here to start :pokinit: since in your original post you didn't even specify what spefically DOA did to you.  :chillpill: out or go back to yotatech please.

:psss: Oh and I forgot to mention that Troy at CalMini was the one that recommended me to Tim. This settles the matter in my mind as Troy is a Toyota God.

Wow! could you be any more vague? what are you even talking about? did Tim sell you a bad long block or was the T-shirt you ordered too small? we dont know. Starting a thread here without even a link to the thread you are referring to is even more  :stopit: I think if I was gonna run around the internet to "help fellow enthusiasts"  I'd have some info of my experiences and a link to the original thread so the readers knew what I was talking about and could make their judgements based on the info provided. meh whateva

I am not starting a thread hear about DOA can't you guys read

Hey Homeless, I have to wonder why you are getting so defensive when you don't even give people a link to the facts to read for themselves.

I searched the yotatech board to find the thread, there is more then enough information there for people make their own judgements.

I agree that it does look like there are valid complaints, as well as some people who did not have a bad experience. It is not a flame thread, but until you go to the yotatech thread there is no way for us to have known what your intent was here.

But most people will not go through all the trouble to find that thread themselves, you merely needed to post a link, and a couple people have asked you to do so, and there would have been no issues.

Not that I necessarily agree with any of it but...

That's the link to the yotatech forum.

Definitely some pissed off people. Yet I wonder why on pirate, the biggest, most ruthless, and techy offroad forum, Tim is embraced? Guys over their will tear you a new one for looking at them wrong, yet I don't think I've ever come across a complaint about DOA (not that they don't exist) and those guys complain about everything! :dunno:

And as a side note that really means nothing regarding the topic at hand... Homeless, you're kinda sounding dim with your responses. This is your thread yet your posts are totally inadequate with basically no information.

Toyoballs

There was a thread started on Pirate about this and it was soon axed because it was a bash thread.

Tim explained his self pretty good IMO.

Homeless - I hope you don't think you'll be able to use the thread in Yotatech in your law suite. they probably won't allow you to since it really has nothing to do with your issues with Tim. You maybe on here looking for sympathy but in reality I usually put more blame on the inexperienced assembler.

Good luck if you think you'll win, you should've talked to Tim, I'm sure he would've worked this out with you some how.

Just goes to show you, you can't please everyone no matter what.
