Its a van conversion. Ford didn't offer a 4x4 van, this company did it for many new vans. I am guessing its all Dana.

They are pretty rare. I saw one once a long time ago and thought it was some crazy hack job until I read the recent Petersons (or Four Wheeler, cant remember which) article about one of them.

get out more often =) thats a really good way to do it and not have a drag link that is damn near straight up and down. You should see a setup that i think its called a K-link on a couple rock crawlers. its way whack looking but it works better than the traditional setup ( if you run a sterring box that is)

I always wanted to turn an Escalade into a wheeler. Not something you ever see on the trail. That thing is definitely pavement pounder status, but now at least I have a semi-visual about what I had always dreamed about all these years.

both of these truck look fixable and I would love to have either... then lower the hell out of them

That red truck was never built for four wheeling . It's an old show truck , I used to see it at alot of shows in the 90s . . . No need to hate , not everyone builds their 4x4s for rock crawling . I see alot of trucks in this thread where people are just bashing the owners , when it is clear that they were never built for taking them out on the trail . I'm not saying anything bad , just that people should realise what the purpose of each truck is before calling some of them a disgrace
