As soon as I get a little cauaght up with some other stuff around here and not being so lazy  maybe I'll try to convert mine and get longer shocks for it too!  :gap: It's looks pretty good though!

Fearofrunner

Nice work man, how's the ride?  You get bigger tires yet?

Tallchevy

Thanks  Can't drive it. The bottom bolt on the passenger side caliper striped out & fell off  :shocking: Make a grinding noise when I hit the brakes. Looking for a 12x1.25mm Helicoil kit. Can't locate one though. So I might change to a 12x1.50mm. As for tires. I waiting for taxes & buying 35x12.50x15. Don't know what brand yet  :dunno:

sucks about bolt strippin off i had that problem too and ended up using a standard 5 grade that was just a little bigger than the 10mm that was in it, i think it was a 1/2" or 9/16" cant remember, the 12 mm just looked to big to me that's alot of metal to drill away for such a vital part??  Good to hear about the tires though there gonna look sweet under the runner.  Just gotta get some gears though or your gonna have to match your hair with the truck cause you'll be movin at the speed of grannies walker.

I found a helicoil kit & got the caliper back on. Atleast I can drive it now. Here is a pic. I'll post more later.

Picked up front & rear bumpers & got them mounted. I wanted to build my own but I've been busy & got tired of seeing the stock chrome front bumper & a rear hitch? I'll post pic's later.

Also got Marlins extended front shock hoops the other day. I will mount them soon.

Mount them on the back side of your axle housing instead of the top. :twocents:

Front bumper, I know that it's not a custom built bumper but the stock one looked like  :pokinit: & had to go. I'll build one at a later date.

As it sits right now. I have a family of 6 so I will be installing a third row seat & I have an extra hard top that I'm going to modify. I will always have more to do but for now I'm satisfied

I forgot to mention that I didn't build that either. I bought it from a guy on Pirate. He said that it was a Budbuilt but I checked & didn't see anything like it on their site. He also said that he got it from Arizona  :dunno:

Your right Fearofrunner  these gears made a difference. I have had 4x4's & all were lifted with larger tires but I never re-geared any of them. This will be the first 4x4 that I have ever changed the gears in. Fordh8r & I built the rear gear set for my 4Runner last Friday night  We got a late start & finished about 3am. But we also built a gear set for a friend but as we putting his gear set together, we found a defect in the ring gear  But on a good note for me, I got the rear gear set in today & went for a drive to start breaking in the rear gears & everything went smooth. Good power for take off & I could feel the difference in the clutch pedal. I didn't have too slip as much. Feels like stock again  Can't wait to do the front next weekend. Thanks Fordh8r  :beerchug:

The kids have been complaining about how hot it is with the top off & sitting in the back so I bought a bikini top & windshield mount for a CJ5. Made the bracket & got the top on. Also went to Jip-N-Pull today & found a rear seat from a Geo Tracker. I'll be mounting that up soon to. Now I'm going to need a bikini top from the longer Heep to keep the sun off the kids in the third row  :smack: I be pulling the front axle apart to put the 5.29's in this week too. It never ends  :shake:
