for the timing cover, is it a 20r or a 22r, or does it not matter?

Pick n pull half off sale still goes monday.  If you have one nearby then you can probably find one there.  If you have an early block, remember that coronas and celicas also had 20/22r.

I have one in very good shape laying around. I don't know what it goes for though so make me an offer. But i'll have to look it for tomorrow to confirm that, hopefully nobody came in my back yard and jacked it.

Remeber that not all timing covers are the same. My buddy found one & installed it & the engine oil pressure built up enough to blow the oil filter open. After 3 filters he looked at the 2 covers & found that there was a hole missing in the cover that he installed . He drilled it & it work fine now. Some have coolant tubes for you heater were others don't. Make sure you look at yours & the one you get close & make sure it is identical so you don't run into problems.
