I have no quams with killing somebody who's killed and tortured so many, not to mention the killing, torturing and rapes that he allowed his boys to carry out.  Good riddance to bad trash!

I feel the same way as cteng as I am anti death penalty.  I think he should have been left to rot in a solitary confinement cell.  I want to see the vid though.  CNN said someone was taping it so I know it will be out soon.

logan

nah,i think he needs to sit in a cell and rott as well,i think that would be much worse

Willy Mammoth

I think execution by steam roller would be the way to go in this case, starting from the feet of coarse.

Good riddens, now there is no way he will ever regain power.

Too bad we were so fair with his treatment while he was held captive.

This isn't actually the video but its dang funny!

There seems to be a lot of video's up to the point of them putting the noose around his neck but I haven't found a full one yet.

Death by hanging was too good for the murderous tyrrant. Unfortunately it will most likely make him a martyr but by holding him in to rot in a cell for the rest of sorry life you always risked the chance of people being taken hostage in exchange for demading his release.

I will probally get banned for my response to this so I will try and keep it as PC as possible. I don't think he should have died. I think he should be put in a guarded cell for the rest of his life. Anyone who has been effected in any way by him should be allowed to come and visit the cell, torture the living s**t of him almost to the point of death but stopped just shy. I think any form of torture as long as it does not result in death, so that he can live another day wishing he was dead. Knives, fists, hot prod's, boots, fire I don't give 2 s**t's as long as it does not kill him. No part of the body is off limit's. It would be nice for him to keep his eye sight so he can see it coming. Point blank, I am a simple man. What comes around goes around, eye for an eye, don't tread on me.

Luckily we live in a country where we can each have our opinion without having to prove our right by killing another. That piece of turd got what he had coming. And justice for all. :flamer:

What was it, November he was sentenced.  Got an appeal on Monday, sentence was upheld, he had 30 days to be executed.  Dead on less than a week later.

He totally got off easy and his followers see him as a martyr who died the death of a great warrier.
I don't care, I still prefer him dead. Now if only we could follow through with our death sentences as quickly instead of spending all our tax dollars to house and feed the thousands on death row.

Because we all know the US has PLENTY of room to keep a no good lowlife such as him in a cell to rott..

I'm a compassionate person but when it comes to this type of extreme there's no two ways about it. The guy doesn't have a soul nor should he have the right to live.

It's one thing if someone on death row is insisting they are innocent and are only there because a jury found them guilty but if someone has been caught redhanded and the evidence is irrefutable then there is NO reason to keep them hanging around for 8-10 years or more, at the tax payers expense. They are GUILTY! Off with their heads!

Just watched this video.  For those of you that don't actually want to see the short drop and sudden stop, DO NOT WATCH THIS VIDEO.  This one you do see happen.

It is taken from a different angle than the one Shamb and MrsPA posted, but it is clearly the same room, same people, same incident.

Mods, I'm not sure but you may want to put a warning on the link?  :dunno:

Right on, but too bad we couldn't have gone for disembowelment in front of his immediate family.

That would be great!

Weren't his boys both blown up?  Sweeeeeeeeet!

To all the people who feel we should forever house heartless tyrants and murderers, why?  It's often said that it's more of a punishment to them if they're kept alive in a cell, but the problem with that is how many people we now have just merely occupying space.  Space that could be better used trying to teach a lesson to less violent offenders, people who potentially stand a chance of being turned around.  Why should we keep somebody alive who's undoubtedly ruthlessly killed another peron/people?  If there's no shadow of doubt, kill them.

I actually have a lot to say on this note:

For one, Saddam Hussein killed millions, not to include his own immediate family. He kill with no reason, no war, or nothing to say about it other than he was the ruler of there country. I do believe he got what was comming to him. I don't want to get all religious on ya'll, but his sentencing wasn't here on earth, but standing before God. It's not us to do the judgment, because an eternal life in hell would be a lot worse than getting hung....

But back to the subject of us here on earth. HELL YA WE DID WHAT WAS RIGHT. we have now reached the 3000 mark on American men and women soldiers dead from that jack @ss.... He was a horrible person who acted on self ambition with out the regard for human life.

I know some of you say that he is going to become a martyr to those in his religion or his "followers", well i say let em. From a soldiers point of view, all of those people have all ready signed there own death certificate, so let me fullfill what they feel they need to accomplish. Each and everyone of these damn insurgents/suicide bombers are just ridding the world of there own filth, i have no remorse for anyone of those suicide bombers, insurgents, and sure as hell not for that piece of garbage Saddam Hussein.... LET EM ALL BURN IN HELL FOR EVER, AND GOD BLESS THE U.S.A

Well Sir, I think you and I would get along great. If I ever meet you I will be sure to buy you a beer. I feel there should be no "death row" death row in my opinion should be the f***ing hallway from the court room to the firing range. Once you are convicted there are no appeals, there is no waiting, hell you don't even get to see the prison again. I cant think of how to PC type the rest of what I want to say so...
