what about weld on beadlock rings?
I ran MRT 36 bolt's for a couple of years and loved them. I currently have a set of 17 inch procomp extreme alloys that I plan to beadlock soon. I'm just still searching for a good DIY kit for them.
Sky Manufacturing has aluminum beadlocks that look just like trailready
A DIY kit?
Yep. I think it is 110$ per wheel in aluminum rings, with allen head bolts and countersunk holes. With those stats it looks like a decent deal to me. In there page under accersories.
bobby will be selling his beadlocks again after the first of the year $90 each
why not run the staun internal beadlocks.
I think pretty much everyone would if they weren't so $$$$$$$$$
Myself and a friend ran the original Tire Loc beadlocks, they are difficult to keep in place. With inner tubes, tthey can chafe and go flat. When inflated they work excellent. I thought that in deep Sierra snow the tube would push a little too much in the center. Imagine the runflats in the Hummer military wheels. If you do use them, use copious amounts of talcum powder when assembling. It helps to lubricate and allow the inner stuff to stay straight. My next set of locks is going to by USA6x6 doubles. Currently, I am running poormans beadlocks. 10 in wheels on a 15.5 in tire.
