im using DIY weldon's and they're okay..

had issues with leakage at first just because they're a b*tch to seal by yourself.

other then that, its nice running 2 psi and not worrying about popping a bead on the trail.

I just got my Copperhead Fab beadlocks. They are ok. The only thing that makes them better is they will cut out custom designs for cheap.

I always thought it would be cool to put beadlocks on a stock alloy wheel. They look good with big tires... You can get the parts from these guys.http://rockcrawler-mrt.com/beadloc-kits.html

Call Champion, OMF or Beadlock specialties. All of them will beadlock existing alloy wheels.

I have seen a set of newer and older 4runner wheels both beadlocked by OMF and they were very nice looking. Infact I think if you do a search for 'Goodtimes" on yotatech you will find them.

I ran MRT 36 bolt's for a couple of years and loved them. I currently have a set of 17 inch procomp extreme alloys that I plan to beadlock soon. I'm just still searching for a good DIY kit for them.

A DIY kit?

Yep. I think it is 110$ per wheel in aluminum rings, with allen head bolts and countersunk holes. With those stats it looks like a decent deal to me. In there page under accersories.

Ive actually heard some bad reviews about the stauns, even price aside. They can get pinched or something, I can't remember. Not to mention they can be tricky to set up according to some. There's a reason you still see conventional beadlocks on all the comp rigs.

Down the road I plan on getting Stazworks double beadlocks or maybe Allied Rock-a-thons.
If I stay with 15" wheels, I'll go Allied, but if I go to 17s I will step up to Staz.

Staz:    17x9 is $270  and   15x10 is $240
Allied: 17x9.5 is $260  and  15x10 is $184

why not run the staun internal beadlocks.

Myself and a friend ran the original Tire Loc beadlocks, they are difficult to keep in place. With inner tubes, tthey can chafe and go flat. When inflated they work excellent. I thought that in deep Sierra snow the tube would push a little too much in the center. Imagine the runflats in the Hummer military wheels.

If you do use them, use copious amounts of talcum powder when assembling. It helps to lubricate and allow the inner stuff to stay straight.

My next set of locks is going to by USA6x6 doubles.

Currently, I am running poormans beadlocks. 10 in wheels on a 15.5 in tire.
