Christmas Present to your rig
« on: Dec 12, 2006, 08:20:10 PM »
Today, I felt like giving a Christmas present to my rig.  I had been wanting to get a 4.70:1 kit for a long time now.  I called up Steve at Marlin and purchased one.  It will be going in soon.  My New Years present to myself will be a Pro Tools Tubing Bender.  Post up what your want for your rig for Christmas.

Hopefully, I'll have a toyota in my yard within the week!  If the wife gets my hints, it'll be jackstands and some miscellaneous items to help work on said rig!

I looked at Pro Tools website and compared that tubing bender to the JD-2 Model 3 tubing bender i bought...their KIT price is the same as my JD-2 finished price, their dies are about $40 cheaper, but they only bend to 110 actual degrees where mine go to 180 degrees. Just letting you know so you can maybe get a better deal...

It might get to sit in my new garage of my new house.  3 car garage and I can only get 1 car in there right now.  Too much stuff in boxes to get the 4Runner in there  :headscratch:

Once it gets into the garage, the Marlin sliders I put on need a good coat of paint.  They are starting to rust up  :smack:

The best gift I could give to my 4by would be to install all my marlin parts :gap: .  That poor lift and hysteer just look so sad in my storage unit   Now if I could just make the decision whether to buy a rolled 95 toy or the mc07/4.7 christmas deal...
