Just another photo.  Actually the last photo for a few days.  My wife teaches 5th grade and we are taking her kids to Baltimore and DC for the next couple of days.  So Eric is going to work on the truck by himself for the rest of the week.  Hopefully I will be taking it home maybe Monday or Tuesday.  :crossed:

Just read through the thread, trucks looks awesome!! 

I wish I had the time/patience/DD to do that kind of build.  It sucks adding stuff, and while you're under there, finding other stuff to fix.  :down:  To be able to build from the ground up!!  :yumyum:

Thanks.  Yeah I kept repairing things on this truck.  I tried building everything cheaply the first time which caused more problems than it was worth.  So I saved money for a year or more then started actually building the truck last August.  I am still waiting on the drive shafts and need to put a windshield in it.  Last I spoke to my buddy Eric he was going to try and get it running this week while I was out of town.  Since tomorrow is Easter I will spend the day with my wife and son and hopefully get back to work on it Monday.  Who knows maybe even bring it home Monday or Tuesday.  :crossed:

How do the 5" marlin springs hold up with the v8 on them? Any noticable sag? Oh ya and your flat bed KICKS ASS. Your whole truck kicks ass.

Thanks.  So far the springs are not sagging.  This was a big concern for me and I spoke to the folks at MC about it.  They told me they were not aware of anyone else running the MC springs with a V8.  I have not run the truck yet so we will find out about sag.  In the mean time  :crossed:  I have not worked on my truck at all this week I have been out of town.  The guy who owns the shop is letting me keep it their a little while longer since he is not ready to start his truck yet.  Also still waiting on my driveshafts.  I will be working on it again Saturday & Sunday.
