Thanks.  We still have to make a tail gate for it.  Trying to think of a way to mount the spare tire so when you open the tailgate the spare tire folds out and close to the ground.  Have yet to actually start that though.

Painted rear axle.

Painted front axle.

:willynilly: I am trying a new style of painting.  I call it freeze drying.  It was to damn cold when I painted them So I wont be touching them till Wednesday or Thursday to try and give them plenty of time to dry.

Last photo for tonight.  This is what the truck looks like right now.

Wednesday I will go back and clean up the axles then start reassembling the truck.  Hopefully Wednesday night I will have a rolling frame again.  Then Thursday have the motor tranny and transfer case along with the body back on.  :crossed:  The drive shafts have been taken to a shop to be built.  It is starting to really come along nicely.

Topar first off all i can say is amazing! I don't think I would have done anything different, props  :respect:  Also I am so jealous you had access to a shop like that, did it come with all the goodies or are most of those tools yours?  If you're ever headed to moab or around my neck of the woods let me know, i'd like to see your rig up close and maybe try and keep up!  :driving:

looks awesome. Just a little more tubing and you'll have a buggy

I also taught him how to put in 5min of hard work and then spend 15min staring and admiring what you have done...

Thanks guys.  I wish I could go to Moab but I live in Virginia probably never happen.  The shop belongs to one of my friends Eric and all the tools are his.  I wish I had that shop myself.  He used to run dirt track thats why he has so many fabricating tools (Building his race cars).  He just runs 4x4 now.  Those Broncos and the Jeep belong to him.  He has treated me real well and big Thanks go to him.  Last night my transmission went out on the dodge (blew a tranny line) he came out at 1Am and brought me fluid and hose clamps so I could get back home.  He is a true friend.
