OK more pics... "we" eventually got the walls cut out enough.

Mark got Mammoth on the downhill side and got Bluey on some level ground where they could work on it!
You saw the pics of the aftermath above.

Thats because it is secret.  Scott won't tell cause people will go out and yuck it up.  I do what Scott says...I won't tell either.

It sucks it has to be this way, but if the location was posted and became an internet hot spot it would get shut down just like some other places that got too popular.

I'm just glad I had the chance to tag along.

sadly it happens  all too often

Yeah the flippin idiots who like to destroy rather than enjoy the outdoors have gotten so many spots closed in this area.

I learned from experience that not everyone actually follows the rules when driving out in the forest. I used to be the president of the FL chapter of TTORA, and had the great opportunity of organizing runs for the club. we usually had a good turnout and a majority of the members that attended respected the land we were wheeling on, but their usually was at least on person who had no clue and insisted on breaking the rules. There were people who drove off marked trails, littered, brought alcohol, and acted inappropriate during the run. these are the people that give us a bad name. seeing there actions during the trip caused me to loose my will to maintain my roll as the president of the Fl chapter of TTORA. all I could do was cringe when I witnessed there actions. the only actions I could take were to warn them, ask them to leave and/ or ban them from future runs. since then I have been leery of setting up any large scale runs, or disclosing locations of wheeling places that I know to be "unknown".
I just wish when people decide to do some "off road" driving they would take the time to learn how to respect there environment.

 It happened so fast I didn't even have time to pucker!!

All I know is I was strapped in my 5 pt. when I realized Mark was going to do what I hoped he wasn't going to be tempted to do. I had seen it from below, knew it was 'technically' doable. Knew if there was anyone that could do it 'technically' it was Mark, but I also knew I would WAY rather get it on film then experience it.
Mark had other idears.
Before I knew it we were going for the edge and he was not stopping to "let me out to get it on film" like I like to say. I cinched down on my five point. I remember thinking "I know Mark can do this". Feeling like it was really smooth and all of the sudden BAMM! the rear end comes down, we squirrel around some.

Next thing you know we're on the ground with some guy that looked like a referee with two hands in the air going IT'S GOOD!!! (or maybe that was a post traumatic stress hallucination)

There was a family that had gathered earlier to watch us putzing around and the first words out of their mouths was "OMG!! THAT WAS INSANE!" with huge grins.

In hindsight I was really glad to be part of it....this is the drop we went over... that 'dent' in the middle is where the drivers side tire folded under.

I know it doesn't give the full extent of it, it never does.

OK OK wheres the video!!!!! We want the proof, although the mental pic is awesome and funny!!!
Life is too short!!!   Do something with it!!!

we don't even have still pics! As I'm sure you read, Mark didn't want to stop cause he knew if he did I'd bail so no one had any warning that we were fixin' to make the plunge, as it were.
When we finally came to a stop I remember CT just all frantic "I DIDN'T HAVE MY CAMERA!"
