yeah i can see the benefits of having them that long.  the other thing is that i dont think i want to spend the money on 18' of DOM tubing just to link the rear of my truck!  that DOM is not cheap!   :yikes:

what i do too.  pat got all his link material from my shop though.  it is heavy wall pipe that has an OD of 1 5/8's and an ID of 7/8's i believe so it is 3/8's wall.  it was somethibng like $4 a foot if i remember correctly.  i get 2 inch .250 DOM for about $9 a foot and they are probably about the same strength.

Ramrod

ya I just bought the whole 20" stick at once so I could make all four lowers and a spare.  Only cost about $80

pumkin toy

so you guys are'nt using DOM tubing for your links?  just thick wall regular tubing?

HREW should be fine for a spare anyway....

Ramrod

panhard is 31.5" which is pretty much 2" shorther than average but I dont have room for much more so im gonna try it out how it is.  If it does anything goofy ill stretch it out a little as much as I can.  Should be wheelable in 2 weeks or so, still gotta get the shocks in hand and mounted, new exhaust (again), move the battery and rewire it and flip the steering , bumpstops, registration, blah blah but I plan on hitting some snow soon

TIMS89CRAWLER

hell ya looks sick! i cant wait to see it flexed out!
