got the new bed its pretty cherry and has the 01-04 style taillights, gonna go over right now and do some pressure washing on my frame then paint it and throw the bed on.

Sluice Box Hero

just could a PERFECT superduty bed with a PERFECT rear bumper for $100.

im thinking about putting the bed up for sale for $600

Ramrod

thats a steal, i got mine most of the way on today, the rear bumper is way tweaked so i couldnt bolt it all the way down but it still looks way way better than it ever has

Hyena

that bumper is still on there?

Ramrod

yea still solid but it looks like a dried worm or something, totallly tweaked

after looking at 7 pages of the official flatbed thread on pirate ive decided flatbeds are really ugly and not going on my truck

brought the taco out to petes shop where i linked and exo'd it last night.  Put on some 37" mtrs for mockup and flexed it out with the forklift.  With the way I had my shocks before it was allowing the springs to over compress and tweak out so im redoing them with less uptravel and on the outside of the frame for more stability.  Then ill hack into the front I guess depending on fundage

kiyul4130

woah, you made it sound like you linked out the front or something last night.

thinking some oldschool stripes like this would be badass on it

ya think that paint would look pretty ganster on a taco, nobody has it

LilChief87

Ramrod

there should be a bunch of pics on here of the exo already, no pics of the bed though.  just imagine the old one with no dents and you got it

LilChief87

Talon84x4

Ramrod

haha so I got the rear shocks remouted outboard off the frame and kicked forward a bit, looks sick and feels pretty nice on the road.  seems like more body roll is coming from the front than the rear now.  next project is redoing the front motor mounts and lifting the motor an inch or so

kiyul4130

hey how much did you pick up your oil pan kit for? trying to find the cheapest place.
